Ok, so this is a special occasion. In a strange case of serendipity I am now starting my band’s career in Los Angeles just as the band who inspired me to start a band #HIM ends theirs. @thewiltern theatre is pretty close to where I now call my home and for some strange reason I ended up experiencing this moment by myself. I was never able to see HIM before despite how much of an influence they always were to me. They never came down to Colombia and I never really matched any dates I traveled with any of their concerts (except a time in 2013 when Valo almost died of pneumonia and cancelled the meet and greet in LA) I find it very symbolic of everything that has happened in my life and my band’s life in more than 10 years. And I feel very grateful and honor to experience this in such a beautiful place and a special time of my life.
